It's Christmas! Dayve and Chill performed a Christmas set at The Box Christmas Party in Crewe on 18 December and here's the final song from the show, a cover of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Happy Xmas (War Is Over).

It's a song which we performed with the full band last Christmas and have revived it this year with for the new line up, excluding Dan who is away on tour with Thea Gilmore.

The eleventh of twelve podcasts is a cover of Neil Young's After The Goldrush which I recorded for my Download of the Week podcast. It proved a popular one, and is memorable for me also because my Mac's hard drive broke not long after recording the song. It meant that I lost every copy apart from the MP3 on the podcast.

It's a song that I used to play live around 18 years ago and have recently started playing again. This version includes an alto recorder which I've rediscovered after over 20 years but find I'm still able to play, as well as various other instruments I had not really recorded myself playing before such as piano, ukulele and classical guitar, as well as some acoustic guitar and violin.
